Spontaneous Pop Quiz #1
What is this? I'm looking for a proper name, not a general description. First correct answer wins ... well, nothing really. (Amusing, clueless guessing is highly encouraged.)After falling to 7th place at pub quiz I think that the Stupid Sexy Hells Satans Mit Iodine need a little sharpening up.
ANSWER: Floyd of Rosedale which is awarded anually to the winner of the IOWA/MINNESOTA football game.

Total guess: some trophy won at some football game. If I had to get more specific, I'd go with the Arkansas/Notre Dame version of the LITTLE BROWN JUG{R} - whoever wins the game gets to take the bronze pig home.
It is indeed a football trophy, wrong teams. You're very much on the right track.
Hmmmm, it's a pig, which no doubt Germanicus interpreted as Arkansan, let's say Arkansas vs. Texas.
I think our team name can and should get longer with each week, such that tomorrow we should be the Stupid Sexy Satans of Bakersfield (mit iodine).
I was going to guess something related to a Pink Floyd show, so I guess I was way off.
Not the Irish, not Texas, not the Razorbacks (good guess) and I believe Floyd's pig was of the floating variety.
On second thought, "something related to a Pink Floyd show" is inadvertantly very close to the answer. (HINT: focus on the band name)
So those pigs really were floating?! I thought it was just the Kool-aid!!
I just Googled the terms and came up with the answer, which I guess is technically cheating.
