It's a resource allocation issue. $50 for bail is better spent on beating the opposition in November. Then, when you win the election, you can fix Sudan once and for all.
Why is Darfur genocide worth going to war but Saddam's genocide not worth going to war over?
I think people need to decide whether we should intervene in foreign affairs or if we should not, and then stick to it, no matter how politically expedient the genocide.
