Yes, I know, I was only being facetious. I completely agree.
Of course, someone can very well agree with an economic theory (ie the benefit of low taxes) without wanting to ally one's self with Mr Bush.
Mr Bush lacks los huevos necesarios to be President, or to be a good leader, for that matter. I think this is why these spots are vacant, rather than any kind of ideological matter. You're bound to find some conservative economists out there.
Now that Mankiw is out of the Economic Advisors Red Hat Club (or Skull 'n' Bones 'n' Tax Cuts, or whatever Bush's little team of sycophantic economists is called), I think shock-jock radio personality MANCOW should take his place.
I also can't help but notice that Bush hasn't given Alan Keyes a job. Maybe he's still sore from the 2000 debates.
