Our Friends The Pakistanis

Sounds like the war on terror is over for Pakistan:

Osama bin Laden, America's most wanted man, will not face capture in Pakistan if he agrees to lead a "peaceful life," Pakistani officials tell ABC News.

The surprising announcement comes as Pakistani army officials announced they were pulling their troops out of the North Waziristan region as part of a "peace deal" with the Taliban.

If he is in Pakistan, bin Laden "would not be taken into custody," Major General Shaukat Sultan Khan told ABC News in a telephone interview, "as long as one is being like a peaceful citizen."

"Peace deals" with the Taliban? Leaving the world's most wanted man alone to lead a "peaceful life"? Just whose side are these guys on, anyway?

You and your cut n' run Democrat butt buddies don't understand that this is a new kind of war that requires new kinds of tactics. So while you're trying to wrangle a politically motivated no confidence vote in Don Rumsfeld, we'll be privately berating Musharraf and ensuring that he makes public statements repudiating the truthful admissions of his top brass.

Man, you guys have no new ideas whatsoever.
