"Admit it Goddammit"

According to former government officials, an Egyptian prisoner gave a false statement as his interrogators whooped that ass. This is what the Shrub Administration based it's flimsy Al Qaeda/Iraq ties on.

I used to think torture was a bad thing, since nearly everyone agrees that it yields bad intelligence. However, now that I'm thinking about it politically, I realize that bad intelligence is what allowed the Bush admin to launch a war in Iraq that it wanted to launch anyway, without regard to the facts, either known, suspected, strenuously cautioned against, or otherwise. So, since bad intel obviously works politically in the admin's favor, I now think that they should get all their info using torture. Maybe use it for economic data as well.
