Orwell

Here's the Orwell essay I mentioned.

There can be left little doubt that the airy persoflage so eloquently expressed by Monsieur Orwell vis a vis the contemporaraneous use of flowery English is, indeed and from here until forevermore, right on target. Orwell so aptly presents himself the foremost and lead literary figure in all of the King's Britain.

I love Orwell. I absolutely love that man, although guilty of much of what he condemns. There was a time when people said what they said and actually meant it; today there is this limp-wristed avoidance of saying much of anything. The consequences are longer than necessary scholarly articles inflicted on graduate students who end up learning nothing from them.

While I certainly trust your monetary theories more than those of your son, let me hasten to say that theologically.......
